"It is my favorite time coming here to do needle felting with you" TL

"These sessions are very special for me. They lift me out from the everyday routine of children-work-children-work.

In a magical, "fairy" place I can make magic!

The little "beings" that we made are magical.

These sessions fire strength and encouragement that we are on the right path to bring up our children.

Thank you"  IB

WHAT IS DRY/NEEDLE FELTING?

Traditonal wet felting has been used as a process to create a usable warm fabric since 6000 BC pre dating spinning, weaving and knitting.

This method requires water, friction and animal fibres.

Industrial felt making introduced the use of a block of barbed needles to punch the fibres, animal, plant and manmade into a felted material.

The use of a single needle for handcrafts was intorduced in the 1980's and since 2000 has really taken off as an exciting way to produce three dimensional felt.
