PARENTING COURSES

Through discussion and creative activities we explore some of the questions that meet us as parents. We will find practical, helpful and creative tools that will support us in our role as parents.
This is a series of 5 workshops looking at the development of the child and our needs as a parent.
“I felt empowered as a mother through the work with Emma. It gave me confidence to try out new things, and through hearing other people’s experiences I gained new ideas and realised I wasn’t alone as a Mother- we all share similar issues."
J.A. (Teacher)
“Emma’s morning workshops felt deeply enriching. Her knowledge and experience together with honest lively group sharing and discussion gave me new strength, inspiration and confidence as a parent. I also really enjoyed the diverse craft activities at the end of the morning."
G.A. (Nurse and parent and child group leader)
"It has been a real treasure! I have looked forward to it impatiently. Really supportive, insightful and loving- thank you so much." S.C.

A series of 10 monthly evening workshops
What are the festivals that form the rhythm of the year and how can we celebrate them with our children?
Through discussion, song and crafts we explore practical ways to celebrate our festivals at home. We look at the deeper meaning behind the festivals and see how the earth’s natural yearly cycle can be used to inspire and guide us in creating joyful festivals for the family and the community. We discover how the festivals interlink with one another to create a journey through the year.
“Inspirational, with a perfect balance of theory, discussion and practical, an opportunity to explore the Festivals” T.M.
“Emma breathes relevance and joy into our festivals not only for our children but as a means of making a spiritual path for ourselves as busy parents. G.B.
“The Practical Festivals course appeals to all those who have ever wondered why we celebrate certain dates and what the origins of our festivals are. I particularly enjoyed learning simple crafts I can replicate with my children.” A.S.
“Beautifully led, full of insights and gentle humour” C.G.
Emma’s course flows with the year and is therefore the perfect link between our busy private lives and the festivals. I’m sad that I have to do it on my own next year! R.B.

TEN INSPIRATIONS FOR PARENTS
A weekend workshop
Do we have the courage to trust our own intuitions as parents? How do we, and should we, listen to our children? How can we be true to ourselves as individuals and as parents?
Through creative discussion and experiential work, we will discover 10 Inspirations that will help us to bring spirit into our daily lives in a practical way.
"I really enjoyed the day – it was a real treat to talk at length and with honesty about one’s own children and family life in a group of other mothers and fathers in a relaxed atmosphere.”
"I’ve got the Ten Inspirations stuck up on my wall!”
“Through Emma’s very capable and caring facilitation, plus the contribution of the group, I left with a far clearer idea of who I am as a father. I also had greater confidence and workable ideas for being this day to day, in all circumstances.”
